About Being a Coordinator
The Community Coordinator is the key stone in the success of any of our programs. It's your opportunity to plan and implement a program that will meet GF objectives as it reflects goals you may have for your community and for the international students in your charge

Here is Kris' Story
Kris notifies GF that she would like to coordinate a group for the spring. Together we decide approximate dates for her group's homestay. Kris immediately begins locating, screening and selecting families. She arranges school visits and begins to work on her program itinerary which includes excursions, activities, and welcome and farewell parties.

She plans transportation to and from the airport and sets a date for host family orientation. During this whole process, she matches students with families. Finally, after the students arrive, Kris oversees and enjoys the students and the families during their stay.
